I seem to have updated the wrong thing and have screwed the site up big time. Hopefully I’ll figure it out at some point and get it back to normal..

Daft have not disappointed.
Oh and that new trailer – Hell. Yes.
This is where I’ve been spending a lot of my evenings lately. In New Austin. Lassoing bandits, saving strangers and generally putting my stamp on the countryside. This video gives you an idea of The Essence of Red Dead Redemption and was made by youtube user TheCheese00.
The music used is “Ecstasy of Gold” by Ennio Morricone of course, what a game!
REC Meets Cunningham in this disturbing piece by Cédric Blaisbois. “CORPORATE OCCULT” by Huoratron is the music featured, which isn’t all that amazing but the video saves it of course. Beware, some scenes are pretty graphic, perhaps she’s the type of girl your parents warned you about?
Just uploaded this lil’ video to my account. It’s a cover version of the song Untitled by Interpol, created by Datassette. I’ve always loved this version and thought I’d upload to share the joy. The visuals were nabbed from daft punk’s terrible ‘electroma’ film they made. It was the only shot I liked from an utterly forgettle viewing.
You can download this MP3 for free on page 8: http://www.datassette.net/?l=downloads
This video, made by Patrick Jean, is just amazing. I’m constantly surprised how far digital effects are progressing these days.
Jesus Christ. I could talk all day about how excited I am about this film but I won’t. This trailer just made my jaw drop. The music, the visuals, the actors (Olivia Wilde…yikes!), the environments.. I think this is going to be such a cool film. At the end of the day, I’m just happy Tron is being brought back to life, as it could’ve easily been ignored. Can’t wait.
Watch it in full HD of course or download below from direct links.

Well I’m not sure I’ll use it extensively but I just joined that Blip.fm website. It’s like a mix between Twitter and Last.fm, in that I can share music I’m loving with a simple comment. You can play my “Blips” to check out the song for yourself, so it’s a good way to share and check out new artists from someone you trust (Me!). I’ll give it a shot and see how it goes, I’m in need of some fresh musical meat myself so maybe I’m stumble upon some good music…here’s my Blip link:
After watching this showreel, you may never truly believe what you’re watching again. Green Screen technology is at such an effective stage now that anything can be thrown together to create some amazing visuals. This is Stargate Studios‘ Virtual Backlot Reel for 2009, prepare to be impressed. Music: “Lion Heart” by Emancipator. This is why I find video editing and visual effects so inspiring, the creative possibilities are endless.
I just had to share this great but little-known megamix I just posted to my youtube account. It’s eclectic, funny, robot friendly and quite insane. You can now listen to lots more great music like this at http://intergalacticfm.com – formally known as the Cybernetic Broadcasting System.
